The powers of the kingdom of Aramore rely on an ancient blood-magic. Masters use it to enslave their neighbours, prosper, and enrich only the wealthiest. The legends from another time describe them as heroes capable of moving mountains, shaping the world for the better. But the perversion of their magic hides a terrible enemy forgotten for almost a millennium.

Ley is a kind, caring, ordinary young man. He doesn't know his place in this cracked and biased world. Mistreated by his family at the farm, he will try to become someone, to prove them he belongs in this world. But is he only the son of a farmer? Or is there more in his blood than what he believes?

His actions and discoveries will dangerously bring him closer to many secrets hidden for a long time, which could destroy the kingdom again...
